Programme overview

Psychology at San Diego Christian College examines human emotions, thoughts and actions through biological, cognitive, individual-differences and social lenses while intentionally integrating biblical perspectives. The major aims to develop critical thinking about human behavior, research literacy, and vocational clarity for roles in ministry, community services, business and further graduate training.

What you'll study

The curriculum combines a core in major areas of psychology and research methods with applied experiences. Students begin concentration-specific coursework in their junior year. The program emphasizes research, human development and counseling and highlights applications of psychology to business, education and community problems. Opportunities include service-learning, a senior internship, and executing research designs and administration. SDCC offers two concentrations: Biblical Counseling and Organizational Psychology.
