Programme overview

Nova Graduação is an option offered by UniFACENS that allows individuals who already hold a higher-education degree to enrol in a new undergraduate programme without sitting the vestibular (entrance exam). The institution can analyze the previously completed curriculum to identify disciplines that may be exempted, potentially shortening the time to a second diploma.

What you'll study

The specific curriculum depends on the degree chosen for the new undergraduate programme. UniFACENS performs an analysis of the students prior course content to determine which subjects can be eliminated; course content and cargas hore1rias (credit hours) from the original institution must be submitted for this evaluation.

Entry requirements

• No vestibular (entrance exam) is required for candidates who already hold a higher-education degree.
• Applicants must complete the institution's application process, submit required documentation and enrol (matriculate) to formalize admission.
• Required documents include: original institution transcript with grades and credit hours; program syllabi stamped by the issuing institution; declaration of the assessment system (if not on the transcript); declaration of program recognition/authorization (if not on the transcript); ENADE participation or exemption declaration (if not on the transcript); declaration of enrolment with courses in progress and their credit hours; signed, dated application form; high school transcript; identity document; CPF; voter registration and proof of voting in the last election; military reservist certificate (men only); proof of residence; and birth or marriage certificate.

Career outcomes depend entirely on the specific undergraduate degree a student chooses to pursue under the Nova Graduação route. This pathway facilitates obtaining a second professional credential and may accelerate entry into a different field when prior coursework is recognized.

Scholarships & funding angle (general)

• UniFACENS offers discounts targeted to returning students: a 50% discount for UniFACENS alumni and a 25% discount for graduates from other institutions. These discounts are applied to monthly fees for one semester and may be renewed if the student achieves at least 75% academic approval in the enrolled disciplines.
• Discounts apply to all courses except Medicine and are limited to the standard time for course completion.
• The Central de Atendimento ao Aluno handles these offers and renewal criteria.
