What you'll study

Study is organised across four semesters combining perspective, tool and specialization courses, internships, seminars and a dissertation. Core and sample course components include:

• Perspective courses: Philosophical, Socio-Cultural, Psychological, Historical/Political/Economic perspectives of education; Curriculum Development and Evaluation; Education for Social Justice and Human Rights.

• Specialisation and advanced specialisation: choose level-specific study (Elementary/Secondary/Higher Education) and two advanced specialisations from Guidance & Counselling; Educational Management and Leadership; Educational Technology; Inclusive Education; Engendering Education; Higher Education (two papers per course per semester when chosen).
• Assessment and scholarly activities: seminar participation, research project work and a final dissertation to contribute to the knowledge base in education.
