See the degree grade →A professionally oriented MBA offering two delivery formats—an accelerated track for experienced professionals and a flexible track with multiple specializations. Suited to early- and mid-career managers who need evening, online or blended study and want practical, hands‑on business training in a New York–area AACSB‑accredited school.
Adelphi’s Master of Business Administration is offered in two main streams: a Professional Accelerated MBA (33 credits) designed for candidates with at least two years of managerial or professional experience, and a Flex MBA (36 credits) that provides ten specialization options, including STEM-labeled tracks. Courses are available in-person at Garden City and the Hauppauge Center and, beginning Fall 2026, at a new Manhattan Center; many classes are also offered fully online, live online, or asynchronously. The school is AACSB accredited and emphasizes accelerated completion—programs can be finished in as little as one year depending on a student’s pace and enrollment status.
Curricula differ by plan of study but center on core MBA competencies and applied work. The Professional Accelerated MBA is offered via online or blended formats. The Flex MBA includes ten specializations (with STEM options) and can be completed in-person or online. Practical learning opportunities highlighted by the school include internships, participation in a Business Plan Competition, and exercises using Bloomberg terminals in the James Riley, Jr. Trading Room for market and research experience.
Applicants must submit a graduate application and $60 fee, official transcripts and proof of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year institution, a personal essay, and a résumé; a letter of recommendation is optional. Applicants who completed undergraduate study outside the United States must provide a course-by-course evaluation from a NACES member organization (Adelphi recommends TEC, IEE, ECE or WES). Applicants to the Professional Accelerated MBA are expected to have a minimum of two years of managerial or professional experience.
The program prepares graduates for leadership roles across industries—management, finance, marketing, risk management, healthcare and technology are explicitly mentioned. Graduates can pursue positions leading marketing strategy and brand campaigns, roles focused on operations and supply‑chain optimization, or other managerial and analytical functions where an MBA is valued.
Adelphi directs prospective students to resources outlining costs and options to make study affordable; the university mentions scholarships, grants and financial aid as mechanisms to help reach an Adelphi education. Students can also consider earning shorter certificate programs (9–15 credits) in areas such as digital marketing, finance, HR management or marketing analytics, with some certificate courses potentially transferable into the Flex MBA pending review.
