What you'll study

The curriculum covers broad public health knowledge along with specialization-specific coursework. Students build skills in communication, social and analytical thinking, and professional development. Each student completes at least one substantial research project under faculty supervision and presents it in capstone courses; there is also the option to present at the program's Graduate Research Showcase. Graduates are eligible to sit for the Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) and Certified Public Health (CPH) examinations.

Applicants may begin in fall or spring and the program does not require GRE scores for admission.
