Programme overview

The Master of Science in Nursing, Clinical Leadership is a 32-unit graduate program built for working registered nurses. Designed to be completed in as few as 16 months, it pairs online coursework with in-person experiences, a leadership practicum and a practice-focused capstone. The program emphasizes leadership that improves patient outcomes, strengthens healthcare systems and advances health equity, with regional connections to California’s Central Coast healthcare partners. Entry requirements

Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with a minimum 3.0 GPA and possess a valid California RN license. Submission materials include two professional letters of recommendation and a statement of purpose describing career goals and interest in the program. The program prefers candidates with at least one year of professional nursing experience. Applicants who hold an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) plus a bachelor’s degree in another field are eligible to apply.
