What you'll study

Students take advanced coursework in topics such as cellular and molecular biology, ecology and evolution, physiology, and experimental design. Training emphasises hands-on laboratory and/or field techniques, statistical analysis, and scientific communication. Many programmes include a seminar component to present and critique current research. Depending on the track, students complete an original research project or a substantial capstone/portfolio.

Entry requirements

Applicants are normally expected to hold a bachelor's degree in biology or a closely related discipline, with transcripts demonstrating strong preparation in core biological sciences.
