What you’ll study

Students engage in cutting‑edge research areas such as green chemistry, protein engineering and design, nanoparticle synthesis, single‑atom catalysis, natural products chemistry, materials synthesis, and phytoremediation. The curriculum includes courses that prepare for medical school, opportunities to join the Medical Awareness Society, Sigma Zeta honors society, and the Messiah University affiliate of the American Chemical Society. Hands‑on experience is gained in state‑of‑the‑art laboratories, and students may work as lab assistants, tutors, or supplementary instruction leaders.
