What you'll study

Students begin with a common engineering core that builds strong foundations in calculus, differential equations, physics, chemistry and computing, together with engineering design and laboratory skills. After the core, students specialise in one of the School of Engineering majors such as Bioengineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics or Mechanical Engineering. Typical modules include materials science, circuits and electronics, thermodynamics and fluid mechanics, systems and control, software engineering, signals and systems, biomechanics, structural analysis and environmental engineering topics depending on the major.
