What you'll study

This programme combines a broad liberal-arts foundation with specialised professional coursework in pedagogy, curriculum and subject-specific methods for a selected level (elementary, middle or secondary). You will study how children and adolescents learn, how to design equitable and standards-aligned instruction, and how to assess and adapt teaching for diverse learners.

Entry requirements

Admission to the university and to the teacher education programme are separate processes. Applicants typically need a secondary-school diploma or equivalent and fulfil the university's general admission requirements. For the professional programme you will normally be expected to demonstrate academic readiness through completed coursework in core subjects and a competitive academic record.
