What you'll study

This interdisciplinary degree covers anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, motor learning, nutrition, and the pedagogy of physical education. The curriculum balances classroom learning, laboratory work and field experiences so students develop both theoretical knowledge and applied skills.

• Core science and kinesiology modules: human anatomy & physiology, exercise physiology, biomechanics, motor control and human movement analysis.

Entry requirements

Ripon College looks for applicants with a solid academic record and evidence of engagement in sport, fitness or service. Typical admission materials include a high-school transcript or equivalent, a personal statement, and at least one academic recommendation.

• Successful completion of secondary education with coursework in biology, mathematics and English is recommended.
• Demonstrable experience in sport, coaching, fitness, or community physical-activity programmes strengthens an application.
