The Applied Computer Science curriculum combines core theoretical topics with project-based, applied courses to develop programming skill, systems understanding and software engineering practice. Students take foundational courses in programming, data structures and algorithms, discrete mathematics, and computer systems, and then choose from applied electives that may include software engineering, databases, web and mobile development, machine learning, artificial intelligence, computer networks and cybersecurity.
