The programme combines advanced coursework, rigorous methodological training and an extended original research dissertation. After completing coursework, students take comprehensive or qualifying examinations and develop a dissertation proposal. The dissertation is an original piece of research carried out under the supervision of faculty from the Mitchell College of Business, culminating in a defended doctoral thesis.
