What you'll study

This interdisciplinary undergraduate degree blends language acquisition, literary and cultural study, and foundational linguistics. You will take progressive language courses that develop listening, speaking, reading and writing skills, alongside modules in literature, film and cultural studies in the target language. Core linguistics topics typically include phonetics and phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, sociolinguistics and historical linguistics, with applied options such as language acquisition, language pedagogy, translation and discourse analysis.

Applicants should hold a recognised high school diploma or equivalent.
