What you'll study

The programme combines core psychological science with applied coursework and experiential learning. Typical programme themes include research methods and statistics, developmental and personality psychology, psychopathology, psychological assessment and testing, and professional ethics. Students usually choose between a practicum/capstone pathway focused on applied skill development and a research pathway that includes a thesis or major research project.

Entry requirements

Applicants are expected to hold a recognised bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. A background in psychology or related social sciences is advantageous, although students with other undergraduate degrees may be admitted with completion of prerequisite coursework. Typical application materials include official transcripts, a personal statement outlining academic and professional goals, a current résumé or CV, and academic or professional references. Some applicants may be invited to an interview. Standardised test requirements, such as the GRE, vary by intake and may be optional or waived depending on prior academic performance.
