What you'll study

The Plant Sciences curriculum combines foundational biological science with practical, production-oriented training. Entry requirements

Admission to the Bachelor of Science in Plant Sciences typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent with a record of academic preparation in science and mathematics. Applicants are usually expected to have completed courses in biology, chemistry and algebra or higher-level mathematics. Tarleton also admits transfer students from community colleges and other institutions; transfer applicants should present college-level coursework in biological and physical sciences and an appropriate cumulative GPA.

International applicants must demonstrate English language proficiency and provide credentials equivalent to the US high school or college prerequisites.
