What you'll study

This degree combines intensive studio practice with art history, theory and professional development. Core studio subjects emphasise sustained making and technical skill in areas such as drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, photography, moving image, sound and installation. Students undertake progressively advanced studio units culminating in a major studio project and a public exhibition or final presentation.

• Foundation studio and drawing: observational training, material exploration and visual problem solving.

Entry requirements

• Alternative entry pathways: mature-age applicants and those with relevant tertiary or professional experience may be considered through recognised prior learning routes.
• International applicants: must meet the University's academic and English language proficiency requirements and submit a portfolio and any required supporting materials.
