What you'll study

  • Digital VLSI Design and Verification — combinational/sequential design, timing, power optimisation and verification flows.
  • Semiconductor Devices and Technology — device physics, process steps, scaling challenges and emerging device concepts.
  • RF and Wireless Front-Ends — RF circuit design, transceiver architectures and electromagnetic considerations.

Entry requirements

Applicants should hold a relevant bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, applied physics, microelectronics, or a closely related field. A strong background in circuit theory, signals and systems, semiconductor devices, electronic design and mathematics is expected. Admission decisions consider the overall academic record, the technical content of the prior degree and the applicant's motivation.

Applicants usually submit transcripts, a curriculum vitae, a statement of purpose and academic references. International applicants whose previous education was not in English are required to demonstrate English proficiency.
