What you'll study

This degree covers the theories, history and practice of international relations alongside substantive issues such as security, trade, development and human rights. In the early stage you build core foundations in international relations theory, comparative politics, international political economy and research methods. In later stages you move into advanced topics including diplomacy and negotiation, global governance and institutions, security and conflict analysis, international law, and regional studies (for example Asia–Pacific, Europe, or the Middle East).
