What you'll study

The programme combines applied and research-focused study to develop advanced expertise in teaching, learning and educational leadership. Applicants are normally expected to hold a recognised bachelor’s degree in education or a related discipline. Many applicants have professional teaching qualifications and relevant work experience; some pathways give preference to candidates with classroom experience or prior study in education. Typical application materials include academic transcripts, a personal statement outlining professional objectives, a curriculum vitae, and references.

Because the programme is taught in English, applicants whose first language is not English will normally need to demonstrate proficiency through an accepted test such as IELTS or TOEFL, or through evidence of prior tertiary study in English.
