What you'll study

This PhD is primarily a research degree centred on an original doctoral thesis, supported by targeted coursework and advanced training. Students normally undertake advanced modules in ecological theory and applied ecology, quantitative methods and ecological statistics, remote sensing and GIS for environmental applications, conservation biology and management, ecosystem functioning and services, climate-change biology, and environmental toxicology and pollution assessment.
