What you'll study

The PharmD curriculum combines advanced coursework in clinical therapeutics, pharmacotherapy, pharmacokinetics and clinical pharmacology with intensive experiential training in hospital and community settings. You will study modules covering drug information and evidence-based medicine, clinical pharmacy practice, medication safety and quality improvement, pharmacoeconomics, and clinical research methods. Entry requirements

Applicants are normally expected to hold a recognised Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) or equivalent pharmacy qualification from an accredited institution. Typical entry criteria include a competitive academic record in your prior degree, evidence of professional registration or eligibility for registration with the relevant UAE pharmacy regulator, and satisfactory performance in an interview or assessment by the College of Pharmacy.

Additional requirements commonly include proficiency in English (demonstrated through recognised tests or prior instruction in English), submission of academic transcripts and references, and a personal statement outlining professional goals and clinical interests. Applicants with substantial clinical experience, postgraduate qualifications or research experience may be given particular consideration.
