A graduate program focused on statistical analysis, data mining, predictive modeling and applied AI methods for business decision-making. Best suited to students aiming to move directly from an eligible undergraduate major into an accelerated master’s pathway that combines analytics and industry-relevant AI skills.
The MS in Business Analytics & Applied AI is offered as a five-year dual degree pathway: students complete a standard four-year bachelor’s degree in an eligible major and then one year of graduate study to earn the master’s. The program prepares analytics professionals to analyze complex data, identify historical trends and drivers, forecast outcomes, and make recommendations that support business goals across industries.
The master’s curriculum emphasizes statistical analysis, data mining, predictive modeling and decision-making techniques, and offers five concentrations for applied specialization:
Graduates gain skills that employers use to develop marketing strategies, increase sales, improve financial efficiency, streamline processes and raise productivity.
To progress into the MSBAAI as a dual degree student, you must successfully complete your bachelor’s degree and hold a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. Eligible undergraduate majors for the pathway are accounting, business analytics, business economics, finance, financial technology & analytics, management, marketing, or computer science.
The program positions graduates for roles that apply analytics and AI across finance, marketing, healthcare and technology. The source cites U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics projections showing 10% growth for management analyst employment from 2022–2032 and reports a median annual wage of $99,410 for management analysts in May 2023; related roles include market research, consulting and data architecture.
Participating in the dual degree can reduce overall tuition compared with pursuing separate graduate enrollment and reserves a graduate seat in advance. Students also retain undergraduate advising and gain graduate-level faculty and advising resources; industry events and student clubs offer additional professional-development opportunities.
