SKEMA Business School

20 Programs 2 Degree levels

A part-time, 20-month Executive MBA taught in English for experienced managers and leaders who want to develop transformational leadership, AI-aware decision making and global management capabilities. Delivery mixes online learning and four short residential weeks across SKEMA’s international campuses to maintain work-study balance.

What you'll study

Learning focuses on building a solid skillset across business functions and on leadership abilities needed to design and implement change that creates value. Specific emphases in the curriculum include:

  • Mastering interconnected business fundamentals to understand whole-system dynamics rather than isolated functions.
  • Harnessing artificial intelligence and data responsibly, turning technology into an ethical growth lever.
  • Embedding sustainability into corporate strategy to build resilient, future-ready organisations.
  • Developing purpose-driven leadership: clarity, authenticity and stakeholder engagement to mobilise people internally and externally for transformation.
  • Practical global exposure through short on-campus residential weeks and interactions with diverse business ecosystems.

Format: blended learning. Only 20 days of physical presence on campus are required to help participants balance professional commitments with study. The programme includes four 5-day residential weeks on SKEMA campuses in Paris (France), Dubai (UAE), Suzhou & Shanghai (China), and Belo Horizonte & Rio de Janeiro (Brazil); the remainder is delivered online via live webinars and self-study modules.

Entry requirements

Applicants must hold either a master’s degree or equivalent (5 years of higher education), or a bachelor’s degree, and demonstrate significant professional experience since obtaining their degree. The programme targets professionals already working or transitioning careers—not recent students. Proficiency in English is required; while a formal test is not mandatory, candidates must demonstrate ability equivalent to IELTS 7, TOEIC 870 or TOEFL 580. SKEMA can admit applicants with disabilities and offers assessment of support measures at campuses.

The GEMBA is aimed at directors, middle or senior managers and senior project managers who want to advance their careers, move into more strategic roles, contribute to their organisation’s success or launch new ventures. Graduates are prepared to take on responsibilities that require leading complex, cross-functional transformations, managing multicultural teams and applying AI-informed, sustainable strategies to create value.
