What you'll study

Study focuses on designing buildings for the Hochbau sector. Students learn to plan buildings considering design, urban‑planning context, functional requirements, technical systems and economic constraints while taking ecological, legal and social factors of the building task into account. Entry requirements

• General higher education entrance qualification (Allgemeine Hochschulreife / Abitur) or subject‑specific higher education entrance qualification (Fachhochschulreife).
• Application must include a portfolio of up to ten self‑produced artistic/design works in A3 format submitted digitally as a single file compressed to a maximum of 10 MB; media and themes are at the applicant's discretion.
• A voluntary practical placement on a construction site or in an architectural office is recommended before starting (an at least eight‑week construction internship is advised).
