The Bachelor of Science in Angewandte Naturwissenschaften uses a platform strategy: the first two semesters deliver core natural-science and introductory engineering knowledge from chemistry, biology and physics to enable informed choice of later specialisation. Graduates may work as laboratory leaders in chemical or biotechnological fields, in research and development, in development, service and sales of analytical instruments, or in controlling and coordinating production processes. The degree also prepares for continuation to Master programmes such as Chemistry: Materials, Engineering and Sustainability, Biotechnology, or Lightweight Construction and Materials Technology.
