Eligible Nationalities
This scholarship is open to international students of all nationalities.
Eligibility Criteria
International applicants considering a full-time taught, part-time structured postgraduate course, or a Master's by research program on campus are welcome to apply.
Minimum entry requirement:
- An upper second-class Honours degree (or equivalent international qualification - see university website for details given down below)
- OR a postgraduate certificate in education (CPE) with a merit profile
Please note:
1. This scholarship is not available for:
- Postgraduate Diploma programs
- Distance learning courses
- Certain professional development and Postgraduate Diploma courses offered by the Faculty of Health & Social Sciences (details available on the university website)
2. The following programs are eligible for the scholarship:
- MSc Public Health
- MA Social Work
- MSc Physician Associate Studies
- MSc Nutrition & Behaviour
3. This scholarship can be combined with a Sports or Music scholarship, but not with any other academic awards.

Application Procedure
Simply apply for admission to a qualifying postgraduate course at Bournemouth University. If you meet the eligibility criteria, you'll be automatically considered for the Academic Excellence Scholarship (International) worth £3,750 towards your tuition fees.
