The CAS-ANSO Scholarship is a prestigious fully funded international scholarship offered by the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) in collaboration with the Alliance of National and International Science Organizations (ANSO). The program aims to support outstanding international students to pursue Master’s and PhD degrees in China at top research institutions such as the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) and the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS).

Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the CAS-ANSO Scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Must be a non-Chinese citizen
- Must be proficient in English or Chinese
- Must meet USTC or UCAS admission requirements
Age requirements:
- Master’s applicants: Minimum 30 years - above
- PhD applicants: Minimum 35 years - above
- Must not be currently studying for the same degree level in China
- Must not hold other assignments or scholarships during the award period
- Applicants cannot apply to USTC and UCAS simultaneouslyFailure to meet annual academic assessments may result in scholarship termination.

- Choose either USTC or UCAS(not both)
- Apply through the official USTC or UCAS online admission system
- Select “CAS-ANSO Scholarship” in the scholarship section
- Upload all required academic and supporting documents
- Submit referee recommendations before the deadline
- If eligible, select the option to be considered for ANSO-CAS-TWAS/UNESCO PhD Scholarship
All applications are reviewed jointly by the university and scholarship committees.
