Eligibility Criteria
Bilateral Program includes a full or partial scholarship established by MOE in accordance with educational exchange agreements or consensus between the Chinese government and governments of other countries, institutions, universities, or international organizations.
The Bilateral Program supports undergraduate students, graduate students, general scholars, and senior scholars. Please consult the dispatching authorities of your home country for the categories available Zhejiang University accepts applicants sponsored by this scholarship, including undergraduate students, graduate students, general scholars (including students for one semester or one academic year’s Chinese language programs), and senior scholars.
This scholarship is Type A in the CSC system.
Application Procedure
1. Where to Apply
Apply to the dispatching authorities for overseas study of your home country. Choose Zhejiang University as your target university, however, please do note that Zhejiang University does NOT directly accept the application.
All the applicants for CSC scholarship- Bilateral Programs should visit the Online Application System for International Students, Zhejiang University (Link) and fill in the complete information.
2. When to Apply
In general, from January to the beginning of April each year. Please consult the dispatching authorities for the specific deadline of each year.
3. Applicants asking for pre-admission letters MUST first obtain Form for Provisional Acceptance of International Student by ZJU supervisor（Download），log on the online Application System (Link) and send us the paper version of the online application form respectively to:

4. Applicants for undergraduate programs and language programs (general scholars) do NOT need to provide Form for Provisional Acceptance of International Student by ZJU supervisor.
