The programme combines core pedagogical theory with substantial school-based practicum to build professional teaching capability. Entry requirements

Applicants are normally required to hold a recognised bachelor’s degree. Selection typically considers academic transcripts, relevant experience with children or youth, and a suitability-to-teach assessment which may include references and an interview. Successful candidates must meet professional requirements for working with young people, including background checks and immunisation or health declarations where required by placement schools. Competence in English for academic and professional communication is expected; international applicants must meet recognised English-language standards.

Graduates are prepared for classroom teaching roles in primary or secondary schools and commonly take up positions as classroom teachers, learning support coordinators, or specialist subject teachers.
