This combined program blends core engineering science and design with practical professional practice. Early years focus on mathematics, physics, computing and engineering fundamentals such as statics, dynamics, materials, thermodynamics and electrical circuits. Mid-stage study introduces discipline-specific subjects (depending on the engineering specialism chosen) such as fluid mechanics, structural analysis, control systems, instrumentation, manufacturing processes, and engineering design methods.
