What you'll study

The program covers core concepts of cyber security with an emphasis on practical, industry-relevant skills. Typical subjects include threat and vulnerability assessment, network and system security, digital forensics and incident response, and information security governance and risk management. Coursework combines conceptual study with hands-on activities such as secure configuration, log analysis and simulated incident handling, preparing you to identify threats and implement mitigations across a range of environments.

Entry requirements

• A recognised bachelor degree in information technology, computer science or a related discipline; or
• Relevant professional experience in IT or security roles may be considered where applicants do not hold an undergraduate degree.
• English language proficiency: international applicants must meet ACU's English language requirements.
• Additional requirements: some applicants may be asked to provide a CV detailing professional experience, or to undertake an interview to demonstrate suitability for postgraduate study.
