• Special Educational Needs and Inclusion — identification, assessment and classroom strategies for learners with diverse needs.
• Counselling and Guidance in Schools — basic counselling skills, career guidance and strategies for supporting student wellbeing.
• Research Methods and Statistics — quantitative and qualitative methods, research design, data analysis and ethical practice in educational research.
• Instructional Design and Classroom Intervention — designing, implementing and evaluating interventions to improve learning outcomes.
• Practicum/Fieldwork — supervised school placements or applied projects to build practical skills in assessment, consultation and intervention.
• Master’s Thesis or Applied Project — an original research thesis or a substantial applied project under faculty supervision.

Entry requirements

Applicants are normally expected to hold a recognised bachelor’s degree in education, psychology or a closely related field. Typical requirements include:

• A completed undergraduate degree from a recognised institution; academic transcripts must be provided.
• A minimum cumulative grade or GPA as specified by the university for postgraduate admission.
• Relevant professional experience (for some applicants), such as teaching or educational support work, may be advantageous.
