Entry requirements

Applicants are normally expected to hold a UK bachelor’s degree with honours (typically a 2:1) or an international equivalent in mechanical engineering, electronic engineering, mechatronics, automotive engineering or a closely related subject. Candidates with substantial relevant industrial experience and a lower classification may also be considered.

  • Demonstrable experience or interest in control systems, embedded software, sensors or vehicle engineering is advantageous.
  • Applicants should have strong mathematical and analytical ability; prior experience with programming (C/C++, MATLAB/Simulink or Python) and circuit/hardware work is desirable.
