Prerequisite coursework includes a science lecture and lab from General Education Area F (with science/engineering‑intended lab courses recommended such as PHS104/PHS104A or PHS130A) and foundational math and programming courses (examples in the catalog include calculus sequences, linear algebra, introductory programming CSC 208, and subsequent OOP and advanced Java courses).
