What you'll study

The curriculum comprises 24 core credits and 6 elective credits. Core subject areas covered include biochemistry, anatomy, physiology, cell biology, biostatistics, and medical ethics. Electives permit focused study in topics such as genomics, microbiology, epidemiology, and global health. Courses are delivered asynchronously to accommodate working professionals.

Entry requirements

Admission is holistic and does not require the GRE. Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution (or international equivalent); students near degree completion may apply conditionally. The program requires completion of specific prerequisite science courses: Biology 1, Biology 2, Chemistry 1, Chemistry 2, and Organic Chemistry 1. Recommended (but not required) preparation includes Biochemistry, Physics 1, Physics 2, and Organic Chemistry 2. Application materials include a free online application, a goal statement responding to prompts about motivation and strengths, and official transcripts showing conferral of the bachelor’s degree.
