A professionally focused MBA concentration that trains students to turn data into managerial insight. Suited to early- to mid-career professionals who want analytic technical skills (statistical and tooling) plus the ability to translate results for decision makers.

What you'll study

The programme develops foundational and applied analytic skills and managerial interpretation of data. Key technical and applied topics stated in the programme materials include:

  • Data science and analytical foundations: acquisition, cleaning, processing and statistical analysis of data.
  • Predictive analytics and data mining: statistical and predictive modelling, machine learning and data mining to uncover actionable insights.
  • Data visualization and business intelligence: dashboarding and visualization techniques to communicate results.
  • Digital marketing analytics: measuring and optimising digital marketing, customer behaviour and campaign performance.
  • Strategic decision-making: integrating analytics into business strategy and presenting findings to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ethical and responsible analytics: data privacy, transparency and fairness considerations.
  • Hands-on tool proficiency: use of industry-standard platforms such as R, Python, Tableau, Power BI and Google Analytics.

Entry requirements

Applicants submit an online graduate application, official transcripts from all postsecondary institutions, three references (preferably employers or former professors), and a current resume/CV. An optional statement of purpose is accepted. Non-native English speakers may need TOEFL or may use Duolingo. Applicants with an undergraduate GPA below 2.75 must provide official GMAT or GRE scores (tests must be within five years). Admission includes a meeting with the programme coordinator and is finalized only when all materials are on file. Immunization proof is required before registration.

The programme uses an admission formula: (Undergraduate GPA x 200) + GMAT score > 1,050. Waivers for GMAT/GRE may be possible for applicants with significant professional business and management experience.

Career prospects

Graduates are prepared for managerial and leadership roles that require interpreting and applying analytics to business problems. Typical outcomes emphasized by the programme include positions that sit between data science teams and decision-makers—roles where translating technical analysis into strategy, dashboards and actionable recommendations is central.
