An AACSB-accredited MBA with a Cybersecurity concentration designed for both working professionals and full-time students. The curriculum emphasizes managerial skills, strategic thinking, and cybersecurity risk management, suitable for students aiming for leadership roles that bridge business functions and cyber risk mitigation.

What you'll study

The degree requires completion of 37 graduate credits (subject to waivers and transfers) and participation in program-level assessments. Program learning goals include effective oral and written communication; leadership and teamwork; ethical awareness and societal impact; critical thinking using qualitative and quantitative reasoning; and the ability to strategically manage resources to mitigate cybersecurity risks and protect organizations from cyber threats.

Entry requirements

Applicants must submit an online graduate application, official transcripts from all prior institutions, three references (preferably from employers or former professors), and a current resume/CV. An optional essay explaining interest in the MBA in Cybersecurity is accepted. Non-native English speakers may need to submit TOEFL or Duolingo scores. Applicants with an undergraduate GPA below 2.75 must submit GMAT or GRE scores (tests must be within five years). Admission includes a meeting with the program coordinator and no decision is made until the Office of Graduate Studies has a complete file. Admitted students must provide proof of immunization before registering.

Admission is generally evaluated using an MBA admission formula: (Undergraduate GPA x 200) + GMAT score > 1,050. GMAT/GRE waivers may be granted for significant professional experience, recognized certifications (CPS, CFA, CMA, CIA, CFP), a prior graduate degree, a minimum undergraduate GPA of 2.75, or by taking two MBA 3-credit courses as a non-matriculated student in one semester and averaging a 3.67 or better. Contact the MBA coordinator for waiver details.

Career prospects

The program is aimed at students seeking managerial and leadership positions where business decision-making intersects with cybersecurity concerns. Graduates are prepared to manage resources, mitigate cyber risks proactively, and contribute to safeguarding organizational assets while exercising leadership, communication, ethical judgment, and critical analysis in multi-layered businesses.
