What you'll study

Entry requirements

Admission uses a two-step process: a required pre-entry assessment from the Program Head (resume and applicant waiver where applicable) plus meeting academic and background requirements.

  • English proficiency: Category 2 – English Studies 12 (67%) or equivalent
  • Completion of one of three computing/IT prior-education options (examples include a two-year diploma, associate's or bachelor's in computing/IT; or at least 60.0 credits of relevant post-secondary computing courses with specified second-year and computing credit minima)
  • Criminal Record Check (obtain only after contacting the Program Head; must be issued within one year of application and may affect acceptability)
  • Applicants educated outside Canada/US/UK/Australia/New Zealand generally require a course-by-course ICES credential evaluation (or equivalent report) including GPA
