What you'll study

The major is structured around two fields with at least 15 credit hours earned in each area, a 36-credit-hour core and up to 25 credit hours of electives within the 64-hour major. General education and university requirements total 56 hours (including 9–15 hours in Bible). Example courses listed by the program include Introduction to Critical Thinking and the Integrated Studies Capstone. Students may apply previously earned college credits toward general education and major requirements.

Entry requirements

To apply, submit the online application with the non-refundable processing fee and provide official transcripts. Admission requires a minimum 2.5 GPA on a high school transcript and/or a minimum 2.0 GPA on college transcripts. ACT or SAT scores are not required. Graduation requires at least a 2.0 cumulative GPA and completion of at least 33 advanced hours.

The program is positioned to prepare graduates for a range of entry-level roles across sectors by combining transferable skills and customized disciplinary knowledge. ACU notes common employment areas for Integrated Studies majors include business, marketing, communications, human resources, information technology, government and sales. The degree also aims to support students who plan to pursue graduate or professional programs.

ACU’s online Integrated Studies degree participates in a Locked‑In Tuition option that guarantees the same per‑credit price for the duration of the undergraduate program. The published per‑credit cost is $395 with a $310 resource fee charged per term. Abilene Christian University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges.
