What you'll study

Students learn to apply critical thinking to solve problems in sport organizations, use analytical thinking to innovate, and contemplate ethics and values to guide decisions. The programme stresses skills in marketing, sales, operations, finance, guest relations, facility management, promotions, media relations, law, management, recreation and special events. Experiential learning is integral: students pursue internships, join business clubs, take regional and international trips, and work with local businesses on real strategies. The college also offers an accelerated 4+1 option to integrate graduate coursework and earn a M.S. in Sport and Recreation Management with either a coaching or sport management track.
