Entry requirements

Applicants must submit an online application and provide a bachelor’s degree with a minimum GPA of 2.5, a personal statement, a writing sample, and transcripts from all colleges/universities attended. A copy of state or federal ID is also required. Official transcripts may be sent via a transcript network to hutranscripts@hamptonu.edu; unofficial, opened, or scanned transcripts are not acceptable for graduate admission.

Career prospects

The programme prepares graduates for ministerial and service roles such as worship leader, religious writer, program director, certain chaplaincy roles, and various other positions within church and ministry settings. The practicum components provide hands-on experience in congregational contexts to develop applicable leadership and ministry skills.
