Entry requirements

Applicants submit an online application and must hold a bachelor’s degree with a minimum GPA of 2.5. Required materials include a personal statement, a writing sample, official college/university transcripts from all institutions attended, and a copy of state or federal ID. Official transcripts sent via a transcript network may be emailed to hutranscripts@hamptonu.edu; unofficial, opened or scanned transcripts are not accepted for graduate programs.

Career prospects

The program prepares graduates for roles such as pastor, assistant pastor, executive leader in faith-based organizations, denominational leadership, non-profit leadership and for doctoral-level theological study.
