The BSc in Civil Engineering is an eight-semester programme (240 ECTS) delivered in English with intake in September. Students choose between two main specialisations: Structural Engineering and Infrastructure Engineering. The degree prepares graduates to plan, design and organise construction projects ranging from buildings and industrial plants to roads, railways and water-engineering systems.
The curriculum combines fundamental sciences, engineering sciences, civil-engineering core subjects, economics/management and practical fieldwork. Credit distributions listed by the programme are:
Students encounter practical modelling and design subjects; for example, structural specialisation covers modelling and analysis of high-rise support systems, while transportation and water-related specialisations teach road/rail planning and water-construction works.
Admission involves a pre‑evaluation of submitted documents (secondary school certificate/transcript, motivation letter, recommendation letter if available, and extracurricular activities) followed by an electronic e-admission test in Mathematics and Physics delivered in English. Following assessment, outcomes may be: admission to the BSc course, admission to a Pre‑Engineering course, or rejection. The programme starts in September and is taught in English.
Graduates with the Structural Engineering specialisation are prepared to design and organise mechanically and structurally complex constructions such as bridges, tunnels, power stations, industrial plants, multi-storey buildings and water utility structures. Infrastructure specialisation graduates work on urban and regional infrastructure projects including roads, railways, water and wastewater utilities and hydraulic constructions, and can organise engineering activities in those fields. Other named specialisations include transportation, water engineering, and water utilities/environmental engineering, each oriented to planning and applied engineering in those sectors.
