What you'll study

The course structure is credit-based and includes the following areas:

  • Foundations: mathematics, numerical methods, control theory and system dynamics (8 credits).
  • Information technologies: artificial intelligence, computer vision systems, high performance microcontrollers and interfaces (11 credits).
  • Additional skills: human factors, legal framework, processes and quality systems, project management and compensation block courses (22 credits).
  • Advanced science, technology and specialisations: vehicle sciences and technology, localization, embedded systems, machine vision, traffic modelling–simulation and control, safety and reliability (23 credits).

  • Thesis work: Master thesis parts 1 and 2 (30 credits).
  • Internship: industrial practice (4 weeks).
