What you'll study

The programme combines obligatory and suggested courses. Successful completion of all obligatory courses is treated as equivalent to passing the MSc entrance exam. Students may also attend courses from the Integrated MSc Programme.

• Obligatory subjects (both semesters): Building Constructions; Structural Design.
• Elective subjects: Design studios; Technical skills modules tailored to develop competences needed for the MSc.

Entry requirements

Admission follows the same baseline requirements as the MSc programmes: an eligible BSc degree in Architecture, a portfolio of professional works and studies, and an English language document. The MSc entrance exam comprises a written element and an oral interview conducted by Skype. The Pre‑MSc is intended for applicants who are formally eligible but did not pass that entrance examination.

Career prospects

Completion of the Pre‑MSc grants automatic admission to BME’s MSc Program in Architecture. After obtaining the MSc degree, graduates can enter professional practice. Highly motivated students may proceed to the institution’s PhD or DLA schools to pursue advanced research or academic careers.
