What you'll study

Students choose one of three LL.M. streams offered by St. John's University:

• LL.M. in Bankruptcy Degree Program
• LL.M. in Transnational Legal Practice (TLP)
• LL.M. in U.S. Legal Studies for Foreign Law School Graduates

Instruction is practice-oriented and delivered by experienced academics and practising lawyers from New York; the curriculum is intended to prepare students to present for the New York Bar examination.

Entry requirements

UIC Barcelona makes this pathway available to its own students who hold either the Grau en Dret (Law degree) or the Màster Universitari en Advocacia (MUA). The partnership provides eligible UIC students with access to the St. John's LL.M. programmes.

Career prospects

The programme is designed for graduates aiming to expand opportunities to practise law in the United States, notably by preparing for New York Bar admission.
