Entry requirements

The programme is open to applicants who hold a four-year Bachelor of Science degree in any engineering discipline. Some applicants may be required to complete preliminary courses; candidates must be capable of finishing any required preliminary coursework within two semesters.

Graduates are prepared to specialise within civil engineering practice or to proceed to postgraduate research. Typical pathways include technical roles in structural, geotechnical, coastal or environmental engineering, positions in construction management, roles that apply emerging technologies in the sector, and academic research or doctoral study.
