Programme overview

The Bachelor of Procurement and Supply Chain Management is a three-year full-time programme delivered by the Department of Procurement and Logistics in the School of Business and Management Studies. The curriculum focuses on procurement law and practice, supply chain strategies, supplier performance monitoring and risk management while emphasising ethical conduct and practical skills for the Ugandan context.

Entry requirements

• Direct entry: Two principal passes at A’ Level, including subjects such as Economics, Arts, Entrepreneurship or Natural Sciences.
• Diploma entry: A relevant diploma from a recognised institution with a credit or equivalent.
• Mature age entry: Candidates aged at least 25 who have passed a mature age examination from an NCHE-recognised centre.
• Higher Education Certificate (HEC): A relevant NCHE-accredited HEC with distinction or credit.

The programme equips students to develop and execute supply chain strategies, monitor supplier performance and manage procurement risks, enabling work in organisational purchasing, supplier management, logistics coordination and related operational roles.
