What you'll study

Students are registered in the Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering Department at NYU Tandon and follow the PhD curriculum for that program. Coursework is primarily taken during the student’s initial year in New York, followed by research activity at NYU Abu Dhabi. Research themes highlighted by the fellowship include water and environmental topics such as desalination and wastewater treatment, supported by the NYUAD Water Research Center and Core Technology Platforms for materials characterization, chemical analysis, and testing.

Entry requirements

Applications for the fellowship open in mid-September for the following Fall intake. Scholarships & funding angle (general)

NYU Abu Dhabi provides a generous research assistantship and stipend for the duration of the program, accommodation in Abu Dhabi at no cost, and a contribution toward accommodation costs in New York. The fellowship also assists with degree-related travel between Abu Dhabi and New York.
